Another Thought

After a long absence, I think I post some more thoughts here, maybe regularly if I can spare the time.

Why do toasters always have a setting so high that could burn the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being would eat?

I'm bored

That said, why haven't I posted in three months?

Well, this state of boredom is a recent development. Work was crazy for a good while. All five offices that we have were all having some sort of renovations done, major and minor, all right after the other. Makes life hard for the IT guy. Lots of cabling, and takedown/putbackup of systems for new walls, paint, flooring, etc.. So.... now that it is all done, I am bored. I haven't even had time to think in the last little while and now I'm sitting at my desk not doing much of anything. I have caught up on my webcomic reading though. I try to keep up with Penny Arcade and Least I Could Do. Now I'm looking for other things to fill my time in the office. Any suggestions?

Just a thought

Is Disney World the only people trap operated by a mouse?

More Idle Thoughts

......or maybe just one.

This is something that I've never been able to get my mind around. It is so bothersome because I can get my mind around a lot of things but this, well, I'm at a loss. They show you how detergent takes out bloodstains. I think if you've got a tee shirt with bloodstains all over it, maybe your laundry isn't your biggest problem. Why do they always show blood stains in laundry detergant commercials. Always. I've never had that much blood on my clothes that I identified with the images presented in the commercials. Why is that?

What Heat?

Well, just got back from my father-in-law's wedding. It was good. Good food, good tunes, and a tractor. What more could you ask for. OH, maybe some ice. It was DAMN HOT. Ok, need a shower, as I sweated like a pig all day, and then off to bed.

Today is today

Well, I've done it. I'm blogging. Not since the old Palace BBS have I had an online ramble, so it's about time. I'll be posting some of the thoughts that pass through my noggin for your entertainment and connfudion. So lets start.

If seven elevens are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, why are there locks on the doors?

I know, it's an old one, but still valid.
